Road Trip

Ride for Orangutan (RFO) campaign team toured on dirtbikes for approximately 5000 kilometers, passing 6 provinces. The one month trip started from Jakarta, and finished in Aceh. It took a longer time than usual because the team stopped in several cities to have campaigns and educational visits. Those cities are:

• Bandar lampung, Lampung
• Way Kanan, Lampung
• Palembang, South Sumatra
• Jambi
• Padang, West Sumatera
• Medan, North Sumatera
• Bukit Lawang, North Sumatera
• Southeast Aceh

The team also visited orangutan rehabilitation and research centers in:

• Bohorok, North Sumatra
• Sibolangit, North Sumatra
• Ketambe Research Station in Gunung Leuser National Park, Southeast Aceh
