What Can You Do?

To help primate conservation in Indonesia

Javan Langur (Trachypithecus auratus)

You can help primate conservation in Indonesia by:

  • Don't buy primates! If you buy the traded primates for pet animals, it will keep the trade of the primates happening. While most of the traded primates are caught from the wild. The more primates traded in the black markets, the more primates are gone from the natural habitats. Primate trade is cruel and tends to violate the law.
  • Report! If you know a case of illegal primate trade, report to ProFauna Indonesia at profauna@profauna.net. You can also write to media and share it to the online social networks like Facebook, Twitter, etc.
  • Be a Supporter of ProFauna Indonesia! If you care for wildlife and their habitats, join ProFauna Indonesia by becoming a Supporter of ProFauna Indonesia. Thousands people have become Supporters of ProFauna Indonesia. For more information about Supporter of ProFauna
