More than 80 hatchlings of Olive Ridley sea turtle (Lepidochelys olivacea) have hatched at the sea turtle conservation program at Air Kuning, Jembrana Regency, Bali.

Vivian Mejia, our current volunteer from Canada, is staying in Perancak Beach to help ProFauna in sea turtles conservation program since yesterday. Vivian has done several activities such as beach patrol, turtle eggs relocation, nursing baby turtles, and also education program.

Tim Kurma Asih dan ProFauna menyelamatkan seekor penyu lengkang yang terjaring oleh nelayan yang sedang menangkap ikan di perairan Bali (21/5/2013). Penyu itu kemudian dievakuasi ke pusat konservasi penyu yang ada di Perancak, Bali.

A group of biology students of Brawijaya University held a study tour by visiting the sea turtle conservation center on Perancak Beach, Bali on 5th December 2012. Consisting of 40 students, the group learned about the management of the sea turtle conservation on the Beach run by a local community called 'Kurma Asih' working together with ProFauna Bali.

ProFauna Indonesia held training on sea turtle conservation management for a local community called "Kurma Asih" on Perancak Beach, Bali last Saturday, 1st December 2012. In the informal training, ProFauna team consisting of Drh. (Vet) Wita Wahyudi, Rosek Nursahid, and Jatmiko Wiwoho, spoke about the general guidelines on sea turtle egg relocation.
