Tree Seedlings and Agricultural Equipment Assistance for Forest Farmers

PT Tri Sakti Purwosari Makmur and PROFAUNA Indonesia provided tree seedlings for an agroforestry program conducted by local communities on the slopes of Mount Kawi. In addition to fruit and coffee tree seedlings, PT Tri Sakti Purwosari Makmur also provided agricultural equipment such as lawn mowers and sprayers. The assistance was symbolically handed over to several forest farmers on Friday, June 19, 2026, in the forest on the slopes of Mount Kawi.

The assistance required a 3-kilometer motorcycle ride over rocky and dirt roads through fields and pine forests. The road was steep and narrow, requiring extra caution to reach the farmers' coffee plantations.

The team was warmly welcomed by the forest farmers and immediately began a symbolic tree planting activity. Riyanto, a representative of the forest farmers, said, "We are happy and grateful for this assistance, because it means a lot to us who grow coffee in the forest"

Field Equipment Assistance

In addition to providing tree seedlings, PT Tri Sakti Purwosari Makmur also provided PROFAUNA Indonesia with a number of field equipment. This equipment includes field shoes, drones, birdwatching cameras, and camera traps for wildlife monitoring.

"When we needed to upgrade our field equipment, PT Tri Sakti Purwosari Makmur came to us and provided assistance through its CSR program. This has been very helpful in our forest monitoring activities," said Rosek Nursahid, founder of PROFAUNA Indonesia.

PROFAUNA Indonesia is an organisation that has been active in forest and wildlife conservation since 1994. One of its current programs is assisting local communities in social forestry, including agroforestry.
